Located on the
corner of Sharon and Fairview Roads in Charlotte, North Carolina,
SouthPark Mall is home to the flagship and largest Belk department
store. In addition,
it anchors one of the largest Dillard’s stores, a newly renovated

with competition, the mall underwent a major expansion in 1986 and
again in 2000. The
last of the expansion is expected to be finished in 2006. As well as
having great anchors, SouthPark Mall has a strong retail line
up with American Eagle Outfitters, Burberry, Kenneth Cole, Apple
Computer, The Bombay Company, Dell Direct Store, Aveda Lifestyle Store
and more. The mall
now boasts 1.4 million square feet and these specialty stores
compliment the history of the mall and prove that it is has staying
power. Dining options
at the SouthPark Mall include Bronte Bistro, The Cheesecake Factory,
Maggiano’s Little Italy, and Morton’s Steakhouse.
For more casual dining, you can order from
Chick-fil-A, Great Steak & Potato Company, Maki of Japan,
Subway or one of the many other restaurant in the SouthPark food court. There is always an option
to find something you enjoy no matter what your tastes. If you need
anything while shopping or dining at SouthPark Mall , you can visit
their Guest Services. Guest
Services can help you with lost items, wheelchairs and information
about mall walking. While
there is plenty of parking available at SouthPark, valet parking is
available at the Sharon Road entrance and the West Plaza entrance. Besides shops,
the SouthPark Mall has an outdoor stage called Symphony Park, which is
located on the grounds where the former strip mall was located. During the summer, the
Charlotte Symphony Orchestra stages an annual “Pops in the Park”, which
is a free concert series. The
final phase of SouthPark Mall also includes luxury condominiums. It will be a place to
shop, dine and live.
