Located off of I-10, the Mall of Louisiana is a popular attraction in Baton Rouge.  Filled with upscale and unique shopping selections, there are 155 stores and 5 restaurants; the mall offers a complete shopping and dining experience.  Of those 155 stores, there are five anchor stores at the Mall of Louisiana, which include Dillard’s, Dillard’s Home, Foley’s, JC Penney and Sears.  If you are looking for a specialty store, some of the major retailers are Claire’s, Bath & Body Works, Gymboree, Zales Jewelers, Abercrombie & Fitch, Champs and Express.

There are food shops in the Mall of Louisiana like Godiva Choclaitere, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Co., LA Gourmet Nuts and Heavenly Sweets.  If you are looking for something to eat while you shop, there is a Quizno’s, Mandarin Express, Smoothie King and more.  For a bigger appetite, you can stop by one of the five full-services restaurants which include Logan’s Roadhouse, Bennigan’s or Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro.

If you are looking for something to do with your family, a Rave Motion Pictures cinema is coming to the Mall of Louisiana in 2006.  There is also a carousel on the top level, an arcade and Club NOGGIN to entertain children.  If you need to take a break, there are soft seating areas that provide a resting place or meeting area for mall patrons.  Available at the mall are a ticketmaster, notary public, and wheelchair and stroller rental.  Security services also include safety escorts, valet parking and auto jump starts.

The Mall of Louisiana is open from the hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday – Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.  Give it a chance to provide a great shopping experience.  I don’t think you will be disappointed.
