If you are looking for a mall that is easily accessible, the Great Lakes Mall has four ways to get there from the north and from the south and three ways from the east and from the west.  Just 30 miles north of Detroit and 25 minutes south of Flint, it leaves you wondering, is there any road in Auburn Hills that doesn’t take you to this mall?  Of course, the answer is yes.  But going to Great Lakes Mall to shop can also be a great way to spend your day.  It boasts six themed and architecturally distinctive areas and brings several “firsts” to the Michigan area, including Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World and GameWorks, to name a few.

Great Lakes Mall is more than just high end retail anchors.  It offers more than 200 outlet, clearance and value-oriented retail stores.  Some of those stores include Ann Taylor Loft, C.R. Jewelers Diamond Outlet, Gap Outlet, and Neiman Marcus Last Call Clearance Center.  There are also several regular-priced stores within the Great Lakes Mall.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat, you might choose another “first” for Michigan, which is the Rainforest Café.  Otherwise, you can always venture to the food court and choose from classics like A&W All American Food, Great Wraps, Panda Express and Sbarro the Italian Eatery.  Whatever your taste, you are sure to find something to satisfy your craving at Great Lakes Mall.

In addition to being bargain conscious for local patrons, the Great Lakes Mall  has special offers for out-of-town guests.  If you travel more than 50 miles to get to the mall, they will give you a special Visitors Savings Pass, which is good for one day of fun-filled shopping and eating.  The Great Lakes Mall also has an antique carousel, a children’s play area and a coffee court available.  There is a little bit of something for everyone.  All you have to do is stop by during the hours of 10:00 a.m. t0 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
