If you are looking for a beautiful, multi-level, outdoor shopping center in San Diego, you should stop by the Fashion Valley Mall.  Fashion Valley is conveniently located off Highway 163 at Friars Road West in the heart of Mission Valley.  With over 200 shops and restaurants, Fashion Valley offers one of the finest collections of retail in San Diego

Fashion Valley Mall is anchored by six, upscale, department stores, which are: Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Robinsons-May, and JCPenney.  Of the 200 shops and restaurants, over 40 stores are exclusive to the area.  Some of those stores include Tiffany & Co., M.A.C., Louis Vuitton, A/X Armani Exchange, and more.  Some other mall favorites include Burberry, Sharper Image, Banana Republic, and The Gap.  Fashion Valley is also known for its unique, one-of-a-kind boutiques.

If you get a chance to take time out for dining or entertainment, there are several indoor and outdoor restaurants in FFashion Valley Mall, such as The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, and PF Chang’s China Bistro.  In addition to the food court and full-service choices, there are twelve bistro cafes located at the mall.  For your entertainment pleasures, Fashion Valley Mall has an 18 screen AMC Theatre and it is said to be one of the best in San Diego.  With eighteen screens, the chances are good that you will find something that you like.

Regular Fashion Valley Mall hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  It is hard to find anything negative about this mall from local and traveling shoppers.  However, for those who don’t enjoy hectic parking situations, it might be of a benefit to get to the mall as close to opening time as possible.  Otherwise parking might be stressful and could take away from the great experience Fashion Valley Mall has to offer.
