The Las Vegas
Strip hosts a shopping wonder with the Fashion Show Mall in its midst. The mall is nearly 2
million square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment. Fashion Show has almost
finished the $1 billion expansion and renovation process and is located
in the heart of the Strip across from Treasure Island.
Once there, the Fashion Show Mall offers convenient
underground parking and eight vale parking locations.
For those who are interested, there is also a car
wash service available Tuesday through Saturday at all valet locations. You can also access the
mall by bus or cab. The Fashion
Show Mall is not only big, but it has one of the strongest retail
line-ups in the world with seven anchors, including Neiman Marcus, Saks
5th Avenue and Macy’s.
It also houses two anchors, Bloomingdale’s Home and
a three-level Nordstrom, which are only found at this location in
Nevada. In addition
to these anchors, the mall has over 200 specialty stores and more than
40 of them are firsts for Nevada. If shopping
causes you to work up an appetite at the Fashion Show
Mall,
you can stop by the 11,288 square foot food court.
The food court has enough seating for 1500 people,
but there is also room outside on the balcony.
And if the food court isn’t what you are looking
for, there are several high end restaurants that can meet your needs. Many of them offer a
private entrance so that they can operate when the mall is closed. While the
shopping is fun, the Fashion Show Mallhas several unique features that
set it apart and make it a popular tourist attraction.
One of those features is the 80-foot retractable
runway in the Great Hall, which makes it possible for the mall to host
a fashion show almost every day of the week.
Another feature is the Cloud, which is a large
multimedia screen outside the Strip entrance of the mall. During the day, the 128
foot high Cloud at the Fashion Show
Mall provides shade as shoppers enter the mall and at night, the Cloud
becomes a projection screen with four LED screens that often broadcast
special events that are going on inside.
With Kohl's, Neiman Marcus, Sears, and Nordstrom. |
