Located in West
Mifflin, Pennsylvania, Century III Mall was once the 3rd
largest enclosed shopping center in the world.
The mall itself was built on a recycled industrial
area donated from U.S. Steel in 1979.
The mall underwent complete remodeling in 1997. It has over 1.286 million
square feet of retail space and it is still the second largest enclosed
shopping center in the Pittsburgh area. Century III
Mall offers a simple and stress-free shopping and dining experience. It is constructed of
nearly 200 stores on three-levels.
The mall is conveniently located 20 minutes south of
Pittsburgh in the southern suburb of West Mifflin on State Route 51. For those who like major
retail shops, Century III has anchor stores that include JCPenney,
Sears, Kaufmann’s Furniture Galleries and Dick’s Sporting Goods. In addition to these
anchor stores, there are more than 180 specialty stores and services. Some of these specialty
stores include The Disney Store, Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body
Works, and the Silver & Gold Connection.
The hours vary
by store, but patrons can visit most of these stores during the hours
of 10:00am to 9:30pm on Monday through Saturday and 11:00am to 6:00pm
on Sunday. Mall
walkers can utilize the mall for exercising on Monday through Saturday
from 8:00am to 9:30pm and on Sunday
from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Strollers
and shopping bags can be rented or purchased at all mall entrances or
at Guest Services. There
are covered and uncovered parking lots available for shoppers as well
as public transportation which stops outside the front mall entrance. With Kohl's, Neiman Marcus, Sears, and Nordstrom. |
