The Tanger outlets in Gonzales, Louisiana is just south of Baton Rouge, off of interstate highway I-10. It's nice and large as outlets go, with over three dozen stores. There are three places to eat, which are a Cracker Barrel sit-down restaurant, a similar Chili's, and then a fast-food Subway. Some places list the Harry and David's as a restaurant, but of course, it's really a gift-basket store. The Tanger outlets of Gonzales are set outdoors, so you walk to each store via the sidewalk, or more likely, drive to the particular store you want, walk around the next few that are close, and then drive to another area of the mall that you want to go to. That way, when you buy things you can bring them right to your car and not have to lug them all around. Walking around the outlets get a bit hot and muggy in the summer, but each store is super-air conditioned, and quite cool. In fact, the clerks will be wearing sweaters, while you'll be wearing shorts and a t-shirt, so you'll get quite cold sometimes! The Tanger outlets in Gonzales are open from 9am till 9pm each day except Sundays, when they're open 11am till 6 pm.
