Westchester Mall, the location of the first ever Nordstrom in New York State, is an upscale shopping center with over 150 stores and eateries. However, although these fine retailers make for excellent shopping (think Armani Exchange, Kenneth Cole, and Coach), they are probably not the main reason that shoppers are drawn to Westchester Mall. Located at the intersection of Westchester Avenue and Bloomingdale Road, the mall contains the famous Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa, offering VIP treatment for those who need a day of pampering. It also houses the Premier Atelier Salon, an alternate location to receive lots of special care.

		Aside from these main draws, Westchester Mall contains many fine dining locations, including P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, the Zodiac Restaurant, and the City Limits Diner. You’ll also find several fast food locations, in case you are eating on the go. Grab a bite to eat at Master Wok, Charley’s Grilled Subs, Nathan’s, or Quizno’s. For a quick injection of caffeine, stop by Starbucks, American’s favorite coffee shop. Join the Mall Walkers program. There’s no need to pay the expensive fees to a gym when Westchester Mall opens its doors at 8:30am daily and 9:00am on Sundays to the 1-mile common area strolling area to provide a climate controlled track year round. Take advantage of the valet parking (available on level 2 near Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus), or simply park in the enclosed garage, avoiding any inclement weather. Stroller rentals and complimentary wheelchair services are available on a first come, first serve basis. Mall hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 9:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm, though department store hours may vary. So take a drive up to White Plains and make it a day at Westchester Mall, where you’ll find great locations and star quality treatment.
