Washington Square Mall, featuring over 170 stores, restaurants, and entertainment locations, is one of Oregon's premiere shopping locations. With recently opened expansion area, there's never been a better time to visit this fine shopping center.
Built in 1974 and completely remodeled in 1994, Washington Square Mall contains a 10-unit food court and the largest Nordstrom in all of Oregon. In November of 2005, a 100,000 square foot expansion including the addition of a Cheesecake Factory, Pottery Barn Kids, and Sephora was unveiled, and two new parking structures were opened.
Guest services at Washington Square Mall include complimentary wheelchairs for disabled shoppers (available on a first come, first serve basis) and stroller rentals (singles and doubles) for only $2.00. The mall also sells gift cards and stamps, as well as providing fax services and postal drop locations.
For books, cards, and gifts, stop by either B. Dalton Bookseller or the literary giant, Barnes & Noble. Find fun items and gifts at The Sharper Image, and satisfy the little ones with something from K-B Toys. Trendy clothing shops such as The Limited and Lane Bryant offer the latest styles for people of all sizes. The Apple Computer Store is sure to draw in technology junkies. Longs Drugs is a great place to find necessities, and FedEx/Kinkos will cater to all your print/copy and shipping needs. Several restaurant locations can be found, including Red Robin (part of the new expansion), McDonald's, and everyone's favorite coffee spot, Starbucks. The food court also offers options like Sbarro and Panda Express.
From Highway 217, exit Greenburg Road, Scholls Ferry Road, or Hall Blvd (three exits and 6,000 parking spaces make for easy access). Hours of operation are from 10:00am to 9:00pm Monday through Saturday and 10:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday, so long hours leave no excuses for passing up the opportunity to visit the newly expanded Washington Square Mall.
