Open for nearly 30 years, Queens Center Mall has benefited from a facelift – a major recent renovation and expansion.  Skylights were added to give it a brighter, more open feel, and upgrades were made to add a 900 seat, 13 eatery food court.  The center now offers favorites that include Kentucky Fried Chicken, Subway, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Sbarro, just to give you a “taste”.  You can also have a seat in Applebee’s for a full-service meal.  Just need a quick refueling of caffeine?  Swing by Starbucks for your favorite latte, iced coffee, or frappaccino.  Just thirsty?  There are ten soft drink machines located throughout the mall.

Besides the typical fashion flags and department stores, you’ll find shining diamonds like Sam Goody and Suncoast Motion Pictures Company, selling CD’s and DVD’s for everyone’s enjoyment, as well as the Dell Direct store, a haven for computer junkies looking for the newest and best techie gadgets.  You can even have your teeth cleaned or that filling repaired in between stores at Queens Center Dental. With J.C. Penney, Macy’s, Modell’s.

Stroller rentals are available to help ease the burden of parents with small children.  And as long as you are shopping with your child, sign them up for the Queens Center Mall Kid’s Club (membership is free), which meets the first Saturday of each month from 8:00am to 10:00am for fun learning activities (regular mall hours are 10:00am to 9:30pm Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 8:00pm, with department store hours varying).  Wheelchair services are offered at no charge for disabled customers on a first come, first serve basis.  Foreign language assistance is available as well.  Whatever your plans, make no excuses, and be sure to include Queens Center Mall in them!  With J.C.
