Just because Rhode Island is small doesn’t mean you can’t
do some large-scale shopping, and the perfect all-purpose stop is
Providence Place Mall. With
eateries, shops, and services aimed to please, your experience will surely
be memorable. Furnish your
home with the modern sheik styles at Pottery Barn, or buy that electronic
gadget you saw on TV that you’ve been dying for at Sharper Image.
Run into Champs Sports and buy a jersey for your favorite player or
a pair of sneakers that make your feet smile.
Or step into Journeys and find some trendy Doc Martens or
Candy’s.
If you’re running low on funds or require bank teller
services, both Citizens Bank and Bank of America have locations within
Providence Place Mall. If
your stomach starts growling, or you feel the need to satisfy a craving,
try the food court for favorites such as Dairy Queen, Subway, and Taco
Bell. If you’d rather
“dine in” with wait staff service, try Houlihan’s (an Irish Pub
style restaurant), the Cheesecake Factory (save room for dessert!), or
Uno’s Chicago Grill (serving excellent pizza and pasta).
You can also eat at Dave & Busters and follow your meal with
games and other fun times. Don’t leave without checking out the National Amusements
Cinema 16 to see if there’s a movie playing you just can’t miss.
And take a gander at the Feinstein IMAX Theatre for a special film
experience. Theatre hours
usually extend beyond regular mall hours (which are Monday through
Saturday from 10:00am to 9:30pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 7:00pm), so you
don’t have to hurry. |
