With over 270 specialty stores and a stadium seating movie theatre, the Palisades Mall is a monstrosity of a shopping center that provides a world of entertainment.  Not only can you find the Loews Stadium 21 Theatres, as well as the IMAX screen; the Palisades Mall also includes an NHL-sized skating rink (call ahead for skating hours), an antique carousel for family fun, and a 68-foot Ferris wheel.  It’s practically a theme park!

Inside, find electronic gadgets at Best Buy, Opus Theatre, or Radio Shack, or seek out all the latest fashions at the likes of Old Navy, Express, and Banana Republic.  After all the shopping and entertainment fun has wasted away the popcorn you ate at the movies, check out the food court.  Try Arby’s (roast beef sandwiches are an American classic), Sbarro, Blimpie’s, or one of several other counter service eateries.  If you haven’t had enough fun and games, check in at Dave & Busters – have a meal and play some more.  Or try one of the other full service restaurants enclosed, like TGI Friday’s, Outback Steakhouse, Cheesecake Factory, or Chili’s.

Valet parking is available at the Cheesecake Factory on level 2, and other conveniences are offered within the mall.  Palisades Mall provides community rooms for non-profit organizations, making meetings easy.  Stroller rentals are available to aid in the toting around of small children, and disabled shoppers have the opportunity to use complimentary wheelchairs (available on a first come, first serve basis).  Mall hours are convenient, as well (Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 9:30pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 7:00pm).  So be sure to step outside New York City and find this jewel of a shopping center.  With Best Buy, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Filene’s, H&M, J.C.
