Columbus's first enclosed mall, open since 1967, Eastland Mall is located just south of I-70 South Hamilton and Refugee Roads (east of Downtown Columbus). A food court was added to the mall's list of attractions in 1998, and recently the facilities were expanded further to include a 120,000 square foot Kaufmann's, making Eastland Mall an obvious attraction for local and visiting shoppers in the Columbus area.
Grab a bite to eat on the go at Panda Express, Sbarro, Subway, or one of the other counter service locations in the food court so you can continue your shopping spree without any considerable. If you like games, be sure to check out the Time Out Amusement Center, offering arcade style games as well as video games to cater to whatever your gaming preference may be.
Eastland Mall boasts the availability of several concierge services, including stroller rentals for a nominal fee and complimentary wheelchair services (available on a first come, first serve basis). If you have too much to carry around and need access to your excess baggage without trekking all the way out to your car (or perhaps you've bought several items and are weighed down with packages you don't want to lug through the mall for hours), drop a few coins in a locker (coin-operated lockers are available in the food court) and store your items within the building for easy reclamation.
Mall hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 9:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Check with the mall locally for holiday or special event hours, and be aware that department store hours may vary. There are several attractions in the Columbus area, but be sure to work time into your schedule to seek out Eastland Mall, a great place to relax, shop, and find souvenirs to commemorate your stay in the great state of Ohio.
