Carousel Mall is named after the main attraction around which it is built. Housing a beautifully crafted carousel that is 54 feet in diameter, 25 feet high, and weighs 30 tons, the Carousel Mall draws attention for more than just its shops and restaurants. The carousel was hand-crafted, with its 42 horses all carved by one man over the course of one year. It was housed in Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and other areas of New York before coming to rest in this fine location.
Other attractions in the mall include several convenient ATM locations, multiple salons, a one hour photo location, and easy access postal services. With hours to accommodate most crowds (Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 9:30pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm, with department store hours varying), Carousel Mall is an attractive location to shop and dine for locals as well as travelers. Grab a quick bite to eat from one of the counter service restaurants (the mall contains many fast-food favorites such as Subway, Taco Bell, and Wendy's), or have a seat at a full-service establishment, such as Ruby Tuesday, Uno's Chicago Grill, or Hooters.
Note that there is a Parental Escort Policy requiring that all patrons under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian over the age of 21) between the hours of 4:00pm and closing on Saturdays (the mall closes at 9:30pm on Saturdays). One supervisor per five teenagers is permissible, and acceptable ID (proof of age) includes a driver's license, state or provincial ID, military or college ID, passport, or visa. Carousel Mall aims to be an enjoyable, safe, family friendly location for all shoppers, so be assured a good, wholesome time when stopping by.
